Audencia (www.audencia.com) invites applications for a position as Assistant/Associate professor in Entrepreneurship/Innovation. The position is for a full-time, permanent contract and is effective from now. The position will be based in Nantes.

Position requirements

Applicants shall hold a Ph.D. or a Doctorate. They shall be able to demonstrate their ability to teach effectively across all levels (from undergraduate to EMBA) and using different modes of delivery. Their research interests should be aligned with the axes of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Audencia’s ECOS strategic plan.

They shall have developed or have the ability to develop a track record in publishing in top-tier ABS/Fnege ranked international journals. The teaching associated with the position will be in English and possibly in French.

The applicant should also demonstrate the ability to coordinate pedagogical activities.

The applicant will have the opportunity to get involved in the management of program such as MSc or Bachelor specialisation.

Position overview

The new faculty member will join our Department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy & Innovation. The research and pedagogy axes of the department are: Entrepreneuring & Strategizing, Futures & Foresight for Innovation, Diversity & Plurality - Context & Identity; and Supporting, Financing & Growing.

The department counts 26 members of permanent faculty. The faculty’s recent publications include articles in Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, British Journal of Management, Human Relations, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, Journal of World Business, Technovation, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Business Review, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior Research. Faculty members are involved in Editorial boards of top tier International and French Journals and International and French Academic Associations. Our department is also home to two research chairs – Chair in Family Entrepreneurship and Society, and Chair in Finance for Innovation. Research active members of our department are supported by our International Affiliate Faculty: Prof. Sarah Jack from Lancaster University, Prof. William B. Gartner from Babson College, Prof Dimo Dimov from University of Bath, Prof. Gideon Markman from Colorado State University.

Opportunities will be offered to teach in our different campuses (Paris, La Roche-sur-Yon, Shenzhen - China) and in our partner campus in Algeria, Maroc or Senegal.

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with potential and experience.
